Festival BD Angouleme 2012, until now, is the greatest festival or Comicon that I've ever seen. Italian Festival and comicon included.
Locations are in all city, far among the palaces. Angouleme is difficult for understand its plane: had a terraces, without plane like medieval italian city... but, when I understand and learn to read maps, I go where I wanted!
two days isn't enough and at the end I don't see Spiegelman's exposition: is too far for me and the trains that I must Took... So, next year I'll take one week and a car!
People are all nice and kind: my english is scary but all people that I seen try to understand me and I try understand French {Isn't difficult to hear because italian and french is both latin languages, is almost easy to listen that english}.
This journey was interesting above all I seen other country, people, arts and civilisation.

Train is very confort to travel, I prefer it to plane. I'll prefer ship to plane for go to islands like Ireland, but it's impossible!
Anyway, I got all words and opinions from editors and artists that I met for my draw and panels. My style is hybrid because I learn to draw seeing my mother when I was a child: she drawn fashion-plate and I took strange proportion that I can't change, now after 24 years. When I was child I see this, I see Disney but also LP's cover of Saxon, Iron maiden and Judas Priest, Fantasy illustration, I see natural illustration on animal's books and then when I grow up Listen to music, Read novels, seen films, comics artists, American, French, Japanese, Italian; great artist of the Past, sculptures and painters, from paleolitic cave to Caravaggio. I can't change all this but I can try to turn. So, now, I must do practice:
1)Conform the style. I love realistic and cartoon, I find a way to coexist between us. I want exalt proportion. Legs too long, noises strange, chubby hands or skeleton? Nevermind, i love it and works. They must consistent.
2)Much backdrops: I thought to do enough... no. And then some.

5) Draw much reality object. I try yesterday and a heather became a sort of pig or dog...mh.

and at the end of all this, I go to sketches and training to better. And this Sunday I'll post a new result! Or, I hope always...
